About Our Company

Robert Anthony, President of East Hampton Web Services, attended Boston University before enlisting in the Army in 1965. After embarking on a theatrical career spanning 2 decades and later becoming involved in high end renovations in New York City, he was given to opportunity to manage the restoration of a Stanford White house on the dunes in Southampton.

Upon completion of that project, he managed the construction of a number of homes until he retired in 2005 all the while running his business Computer Services of East Hampton as a side line.

After his 'retirement' he devoted his energies entirely to computers, first with repair and software development and later in web design and optimization and finds that he works harder and longer hours than he ever did before. His client list boasts individuals, celebrities and corporate clients both in the United States and abroad. "I get to my office at 4 or 5 in the morning", he says "because I have clients in different time zones and if it's 4 AM here, it's 10 AM where some of my clients are."

Earlier this year he decided to coordinate his 3 areas of concentration into one company to provide a full service computer company that would address the needs of all his clients. "After all, if I was designing a web site, I would naturally optimize it for presence on the World Wide Web", he says.
